Maya has been writing since as long as they can remember, and painting for at least two years. They graduated from Harvard in 2024 with a BA in Women and Gender Studies. This year, they find themselves in CDMX with support from Harvard’s Trustman Fellowship, exploring artist collectives and wondering how imagination moves us from the internal to the collective. Their beverage of choice is a michelada, and their favorite taco is suadero. Maya believes that when they die and go to heaven, paradise will be an open mic for the rest of eternity.
